Boost the effectiveness of your immune system

Kerala is the paradise of Ayurveda. No country in the world can claim parity with Kerala in Ayurveda. People from all over the world come to Kerala in search of Ayurveda treatment – either for rejuvenation or to find a cure. Ayurveda is based on the premise that the universe is made up of five elements:

  • Pradvi – earth
  • Aap – water
  • Tejus – Fire
  • Vayu – Air
  • Akash – Space

These elements are represented in humans by three "doshas", or energies: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. When any of the doshas accumulate in the body beyond the desirable limit, the body loses its balance. Every individual has a distinct balance, and our health and well-being depend on getting a right balance of the three doshas ("tridoshas"). Ayurveda suggests specific lifestyle and nutritional guidelines to help individuals reduce the excess dosha. Ayurveda is not just an Ancient Indian Medical system, but a complete guide to healthy living. It has been around for several thousands of years and has stood through the test of time.

Our tie up with a traditional medical center with a focus on natural healing through Ayurveda is available. It is perhaps the best known center in Varkala offering excellent ayurvedic treatments with assured rejuvenation and well-being. We offer the most authentic therapy and treatments supervised by a medically qualified doctor and experienced team of therapist at our center. What are Ayurvedic spa treatments?

Most Ayurvedic spa treatments involve some degree of massage, with therapeutic essential oils chosen to suit your dosha. The massage techniques used include tapping, kneading and squeezing as well as the more traditional massage strokes you would expect. The style and flow of the massage is determined by who you are, and what your body needs for balance and wellbeing at the time. An Ayurvedic therapist is trained to focus on the "marma points" - similar to the pressure points in reflexology, acupuncture and acupressure.
